Viewing Tips on improving your viewing experience
We've compiled a few suggestions to make the viewing of our videos more enjoyable.
1. Watch them full-screen.
2. Try using Winamp instead of Windows Media Player.
We like winamp because it tends to load quicker and has a simpler interface. It can be downloaded for free here (PC Only).
RealPlayer will also play our videos.
3. Create a directory on your machine called "HowToMakeTheNAF" or "HowToPlayTheNAF" and save all of your purchased files into it.
This will make it easy to find them when you need to reference them for a project.
VIDEOS
In order to view the video downloads from this site, you will need Windows Media Player version 9 or greater. You may already have it. If not, it can be downloaded here (both PC and Mac versions).

Downloadable Songs from "The Gift"
An unprecedented collaboration between a recording artist, a visual artist, the Department of Natural Resources, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) resulted in "The Gift". The NEA and IAC awarded Native American Flutist Dennis Sizemore the "Master Artist of Indiana Fellowship", recognition that carried with it a funded project drawing together the Indiana DNR, the creative imagery of Cherokee Artist of the Year Toby Hughes, and the deeply evocative music of Dennis Sizemore.
This was accomplished when the Indiana Department of Natural Resources gave Dennis Sizemore total access to the cave system of a very popular historical site, Wyandotte Caves, for the purpose of recording a collection of traditional and contemporary Cherokee and Creek flute music. Artist Toby Hughes created an evocative drawing, "The Gift", specifically for this project. Mr. Hughes' contribution pictorially tells the story of the origin of the Native American Flute as it exists in Cherokee and Creek legends.
The full CD package includes the historical Origin Story of the Native American Flute and beautiful photography of the caves where the music was recorded. All the songs on the recording were performed on historical and contemporary Cherokee and Creek flutes from Dennis Sizemore's personal collection.
