This area is for people having a wide variety of interests regarding Native American culture. It includes links to websites of people and organizations who are well informed, have done their homework with due diligence, and genuinely respect the culture. For those engaged in research or education in this area, I feel it necessary to warn you against many of the purported 'experts' posting 'authoritative information' about Native American culture on the internet. Anyone who owns a computer and has internet access can post opinions and psuedo-information that gives the illusion of being fact. Do not accept printed information unless you can back it up with as many primary resources as possible. Primary resources could include materials written or recorded by first-hand witnesses and could be statements of living people who can report information accurately from confirmed personal experience. Protect both yourself and our heritage by doing your own homework.
The artists and businesses that are represented here are ones with whom I have had consistently good experiences. I respect their work and business practices and am happy to endorse them.
